Somewhere in the Life Forest

I was walking somewhere in the place called, 'Life Forest'. I thought it was nice since every place was like a paradise. But it seems to block my eyesight from the outside. It's so crowded with pretty bushes, trees, and plants. The stones there are enchanted too. As I walked there I saw a place with no trees, plants, or bushes. I decided to go there and stop for a while.

As I sat down on the grass, I felt like I am beggining to feel dizzy. I decided to take a nap for a while so I can rest my body. As I lie down, I felt really comfortable in that place. I closed my eyes and started to sleep. As I slept, I just stayed there trying to be comfortable.

Then I felt something moving. I sat down and was shocked of the happening.

"Who's there?"

A new orange-haired student walked through this so-called "Life Forest". Cassidy is the name and is wearing blue, denim pants for her bottom, white Skechers shoes for her footwear and a pink T-Shirt for her top. What is in this place anyway? Why did her mother told her that this place is dangerous? Are there monsters displayed in the areas that are crowded with bushes and trees? Too many questions that needs to be answered and in fact, she has no one to talk to. She can see only trees, bushes, plants and stones. After a few moments, a "lucky" sight welcomed her. There was a pink-haired girl which Cassidy is not familiar with and that girl is staying in the spot where there were no trees, plants and bushes. Jackpot! She has someone to talk to after all.

Although, her feet was so glued on the ground to take any quick action. With a sigh, she finally made up her mind, she headed towards the girl and it is as if the girl is surprised because she said, "Who's there?", Cassidy smiled and told the girl, "Don't worry, it's just me. Sorry if I surprised you.", she then, squatted down next to the girl that is lying on the ground. Cassidy was so speechless this time. What will she say? Maybe the girl should say something first before Cassidy will say something back. What is the name of the girl? Maybe Cassidy should interrogate the girl later and plus, Cassidy is hungry. Maybe there are berries in the forest, not?

Don't worry, it's just me. Sorry if I surprised you.

Then the girl squatted near to me. I smiled and said, "Okay," It was an obvious idea. What idea? That the girl wanted to talk to me. I just tried to fit in so I can be okay with her. Or maybe she could be bored by our conversation. I waited for her again. Then, I felt something at my back. I looked behind and saw blue berries. I just smiled and grabbed it.

"You want blue berries?"

Then I smiled. My voice was soft. "By the way, my name is Sakura, Sakura Tsubasa. You can call me Sakura-chan if you want," I told her. Yes, I wanted to be called like that. I smiled and waited for her answer.

"What's your name miss?"

Man, this day is so boring. The girl didn't say something yet but, she heard the girl saying "Ok", Cassidy slightly nodded. Silence passed by Cassidy for a while, it's as if she can't hear anything but then, the girl broke the silence once again. The girl was asking if she wants blue berries. Cassidy said with a grin, "Sure, thank you.", she slowly shoved two blue berries. Actually, she is hungry but, she has a feeling that she doesn't wanted to eat too. How weird. She wanted to ask for the girl's name but, the girl finally introduced herself. The name was Sakura but, Sakura said that she can be called "Sakura-chan", a nice name and also a nice nickname. Sakura is also a name of a Japanese tree, a cherry blossom tree to be more specific.

Sakura finally asked about Cassidy's name. She responded, "My name is Cassidy. Just call me in either Cassidy or Cass or maybe Cassie if you like.", it is kind of annoying if she will be called Cassie, especially when someone calls her that in front of everybody out loud but, maybe she just doesn't have to mind that. "Sakura-chan, may I know what is your Enchant?", she asked politely and sweetly as she curled her pink lips.

My name is Cassidy. Just call me in either Cassidy or Cass or maybe Cassie if you like.

My enchant? She wanna know it. I smiled and was gonna answered but I suddenly thought of something. It just popped out on my mind. It was like Cassidy, the name of the girl which I preffer to call her Cass, might hate me because of my ugly enchant. I just sighed and know the truth that she won't since she was nice.

"My enchant is called, 'Enchant of Gloom'. It's kind of weird though but it's unusually powerful,"
My explanation was final. Yes it is poweful, so what? I just smiled and waited for her esponse to that. It's just weird though, I love everything, and I'm beggining to like Cass, since she is nice to me. I ate some of the berries and giggled.

"So what is your nationality?"

The Enchant of Gloom? Wonder what are its effects on people. Is it useful for attacking? Sakura-chan said it's unusually powerful. It sounds interesting and it sounds cool but for Cassidy, it is not so weird after all. She just nodded and replied, "You have an interesting Enchant, Sakura-chan. Mine is Water. Although, I don't think your Enchant is weird.", with one hand, she dug her fingers unto her orange hair and was beginning to scratch her head as she raised one eyebrow. Even this girl is asking about the Nationality afterwards. A simple question with a simple answer, Cassidy's nationality is English but, is half Japanese and half Tagalog.

"Well, I speak half Japanese and half Tagalog but, I speak in English most of the time.", she answered honestly. "What about yours?", she asked back. Cassidy currently wants to learn on how to speak French and German. Maybe in this Academy, she will meet students who have a nationality of German or French. Even new students are already pouring in the Academy like they were water themselves. She glanced back at the girl as she waited for the response.

You have an interesting Enchant, Sakura-chan. Mine is Water. Although, I don't think your Enchant is weird

"Thanks"

Yeah, she's the first one who said that sentence to me. It's just weird. She is so good to me. Why is that? Maybe she wants me to become her friend. Well, it's okay for me. I just smiled again and ate some berries. Then she started speaking again. I am becoming happy today in this place which us, weird people can hide from the devastating kind of humans.

Well, I speak half Japanese and half Tagalog but, I speak in English most of the time.

She speaks Japanese and Tagalog? Nice. It was kind of suspicious for me because I thought Filipino are noisy. Well, I thought wrong.

What about yours?

"I'm 50% Spanish, 50% Japanese. I speak Spanish, English and I can speak Japanese. That's all,"

"Next question please,"

Then I giggled. I was thinking it was a question and answer portion which are for games. I just smiled really cute nd waited for her next question.

Wait, this girl speaks in Japanese, English and Spanish. How cool, Sakura-chan can speak Spanish! Sakura-chan made Cassidy wanna learn on how to speak in Spanish this time. Although, Cassidy can't help it but, clapped her hands in amazement and grinned, "Cool! I would love to learn Spanish!", and the girl was asking for another question. What is Sakura-chan's favorite music? Her hobbies and interest? Yes, she will ask about her hobbies and interest first. "What are your hobbies and interest?", she finally asked and it was as if she was interviewing Sakura-chan this time.

Of course Cassidy is interviewing because she was interrogating. "By the way, what is also your goals in life?", she pondered and more questions came in her brain. She wants to know more about Sakura-chan's childhood, if she has a lot of benign kind of friends before, maybe she has? Wait, Cassidy hasn't eaten one blue berry yet.

She only has two blue berries. Ok so, she ate two of the berries then, was getting a blade of grass from the ground and was putting it in her mouth like a cowboy. She laid down next to the girl and the beautiful, blue sky and the bright sunlight was finally visible to her, she doesn't have to lift her face up to look at the sky, she already lied down so, she doesn't need to lift her face up. While lying down, she placed both of her hands behind her head as she waited for the reply.

Cool! I would love to learn Spanish!

"Well, it' hard to learn but it's fun to say the words. Like, Hola amigo! Me gusta tu vestido!. Aheh,"

I just giggled of what I said. Well, it's kind of funny to speak my language even though I am not using it as always. I just waited for her to speak and entertain me.

What are your hobbies and interest?

My hobbies? She's asking what my hobbies? I just looked up and think of what hobbies am I doing.

"Maybe, reading, walking, listening to music, watching television and more. How about you?"

By the way, what is also your goals in life?

"Nothing now,"

That's true. Instead of making a frown, I smiled so I won't cry. Small things makes me cry without a big reason. It's just me, like so much emotion in me.

"I don't have since I had know that I am a freak. Which I appreciated. I'm just 11 years old but my life is so sad now,"

That's the truth. I just smiled and then it's my turn to ask. I asked something to her. I just wanted to ask simple questions today since I'm just new here.

"What's your section and rank. I'm Rookie A, how about you?"

Well, it' hard to learn but it's fun to say the words. Like, Hola amigo! Me gusta tu vestido!. Aheh,, Cassidy giggled along and said cheerfully, "Yeah, it's fun alright!", although, she was waiting her first question to be answered and finally, it was answered. Sakura-chan loves reading, walking, listening to music and also watching television. "Same for me.", Cassidy replied gleefully and felt happy that she has similar hobbies with her companion but, Cassidy's smile left her face and the blade of the grass fell from her mouth as she heard that Sakura-chan has no goals in life. Cassidy quickly jerked up from the grass and was ignoring the latest question Sakura-chan has.

"Sakura-chan! You're not a freak! I mean, if you had done something wrong, you haven't done it intentionally, right? Everyone makes mistakes and everyone always experiences pain, Sakura-chan! Maybe your goal for now is to make friends or maybe you could maintain friendships here. Don't worry, if someone died and it is the someone that you love, you can always pray for them!"

She encouraged the girl and took a deep breath. "Well, I am Rookie A as well.", she said gladly and her smile returned to her face again. Although, she is still so worried about Sakura-chan, why doesn't she have any goal at all? If Cassidy was so rude, she would pull that girl's hair and will ask angrily on why Sakura-chan doesn't have any goal. She can just imagine. She squinted an eye in disgust, she is just not being used to being discourteous and impolite.

"Well, thanks. Thanks for everything. How about an enchant show? Like, let's use a=our enchant so we can show each other what it dpes. Mkay?"

I told her. It's just me, who cares. I stood up and stretched myself. I smiled and then I shouted something.

"Me first!"

Me? Haha. It made me life. But it's just me. I just started to look gloomy, which means I am starting to use my enchant. I just used it for about near to Cass. Then, everything around me became gloomy. Well, an effect of my enchant. Inside me, I was laughing.

I didn't plan to use it so long so I won't let my twin to be out. She is too exaggerated, so I won't let her out. Then, everything/everybody should feel a short electric shot on their back.

"Tee hee?"

Before Cassidy could respond, she suddenly felt an electric shot on her back. What just happened? She feels dizzy and weak. Is this Sakura-chan's Enchant? "If this is your Enchant, I like it, Sakura-chan! You should know that I am putting this on one of my 'Favorite Enchants' list!", she commented weakly but, was trying her best to sound cheerful. She was giving Sakura-chan a two thumbs up and then, was forcing herself to stand up. She did but, her body was swaying back and forth while standing and lost the ability to speak. She found herself glaring at the grass far away from her and feeble flowers were being displayed there as well. Well, that area was far away for her but, maybe she could hit water at those poor flowers. Only that she is dizzy but, it will be worth a try, or not? Cassidy turned her face back at Sakura-chan and was giving her a weak smile.

"Wanna see mine?"

She finally spoke and didn't even bother to wait for her friend's response. She immediately met her eyes at the grass once again and Cassidy closed her large blue eyes and was already concentrating. After a few moments, her hands were already starting to drip water from her fingertips. Ignoring the condition she currently has, she continued to concentrate and then she opened her eyes afterwards when she felt the cold moisture from her hands, and the sizzling sounds of the water hitting one of the dying flowers. Only one? She doesn't know how to control her Enchant very well yet. She giggled and glanced back at Sakura-chan. Cassidy still feels dizzy but, continued her "giggle session" and then, she stopped afterwards for she wated to say something.

"What do you think? I don't know how to control it very well, though."
